Aston Martin has announced the return of the infamous Virage. The Virage was cut from the line-up in 2000, after an eleven year run. This ride features an alloy, quad overhead cam 6.0 litre V12, which produces 490 horsepower. The Virage is capable of reaching a top speed of just over the 180 miles per hour mark. In addition, the car will take passengers from 0-62 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds, which is just a little slower than the Zagato.
The Virage features a rear, mid-mount transmission, which is the exact opposite of what people will find in the Zagato. Drivers will have access to a paddle shifter, when transferring the 490 horses to the ground. People will really like the appearance of the aggressively styled, 20 inch, five spoke wheels. The wheels are mounted inside of Pirelli P Zero tires, which allow drivers to enjoy a sporty feel when flying down the road. Inside of this Aston Martin, people will find hand stitched, leather bucket seats for four passengers, so even riders will feel like a race car driver. Passengers will be able to enjoy all of their favorite tunes, thanks to the Dolby, 700 watt, premium sound system, which holds up to six CDs and allows owners to connect an iPod. While the Virage is not quite as powerful as the Zagato, it will still provide owners with a lot of excitement. The car is priced at $210,000, which makes it $80,000 cheaper than the Zagato.
