When automobile enthusiasts think of elegance and class, one annual event that is sure to be at the top of everyone’s list is the Concours d’Elegance. This sensational show of automotives finest is held at one of the most exclusive golf resorts in the world – Pebble Beach. The 2013 lineup of vehicles is enough to make the mouth water, and is no disappointment to previous showing years of splendid collectables.

A symbol of excellence and recognized through collector circles is the Gooding & Co and RM Auctions. Both of these companies are known for their exquisite selections in the collector’s markets and their superior service and backing of the products they deliver. The beauties delivered this year are a collectors dream, and for those fortunate enough to attend the event, a match made in heaven. Auctions for the 2013 appearance are being held Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th. Both days look to being a smashing success and possibly setting new auction house records.

1957 Ferrari 250 GT 14-Louver BerlinettaOne lovely little piece of machinery that is sure to draw plenty of attention is the 1957 Ferrari 250 GT 14-Louver Berlinetta. This baby is one of only nine that were produced, and only eight remain in existence. Sure to be a prize for the lucky bidder.

1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTSAnother hot ticket item being offered up by Gooding and Company is the 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS. This car is said to be a well documented example of performance with a mere 14,000 miles of travel on the 4 cam engine. It is an excellent addition to any Porsche lover.

1935 Avions Voisin C25 AerodyneFor the rare collector, the piece de resistance for the 2013 auction is the 1935 Avions Voisin C25 Aerodyne. There are believed to be only 4 in existence of the 8 that were originally crafted. This lovely has been on display at Windsor Castle and is sure to delight any collector.

1937 Bugatti Type 57SC AtalanteAppearing in Phantom Black is the 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atalante. This beauty has the original engine, chassis, and coachwork and truly exemplifies everything that is loved about the Bugatti design.

1953 Ferrari 375 MM Spider by Pinin FarinaTop runners for RM Auctions include the 1953 Ferrari 375 MM Spider that features a red color designed by the customer, Jim Kimberly. This heir to the Kimberly-Clark enterprise enjoyed driving and wanted a color different than Ferrari Red. It is known as Kimberly red. The vehicle includes all the papers since its creation.

1955 Ferrari 750 Monza Spider by ScagliettiAnother contender is a 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza Spider by Scaglietti. The lightweight frame and body consistently put the 750 at the front of the race. This is the eighteenth Monza built and has an impressive history of winning.

1935 Hispano-Suiza K6 CabrioletThe 1935 Hispano-Suiza K6 Cabriolet received its coachwork from Brandone.The rear deck, top and windshield were eventually redesigned, resulting in a mystery of who actually created the coachwork. Noted historian Andre Vaucourt traced its history resulting in complete restoration to its original form.

This years Gooding & Company 2012 Monterey Auction with 24 cars selling for more than $1,000,000, 5 Cars selling for more than $5,000,000, and 2 cars selling for more than $10,000,000 was one of truly timeless and priceless vehicle.
